This complete nonsense about 2012 is very reminiscent of the Bible Codes story which emerged in the years before the significant transitional year 2000 in the Gregorian calendar. We are still here. Nothing happened.
In a famous and important peer-reviewed 1999 article in the journal, Statistical Science, Profs. B. McKay, M. Bar-Hillel, D. Bar-Natan and G. Kalai, provided an elaborate and correct explanation of how one can find a mathematical code in any document of reasonable length (say, the book of Genesis, or the Dresden Codex, or Starheart's "authentic Maya document."). Prof. Bar-Hillel is Profesor of Psychology at the Center for the Study of Rationality in the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She spoke this past March on this topic at the Fields Institute in Toronto, the Center for Mathematics Research in Canada.
Prof. Bar-Hillel's first name is Maya. Now there is an apocalyptic link if I ever saw one.
Armegeddon outa here!

>The synodic cycle of Jupiter and Saturn averages out to a mean of 7254 days.
>This is clearly 54 days more than a katun (7200). On pp. 71-73 of the
