[Aztlan] In lakech

Exactly my point in originally asking this question. One thing is to
say "Q-Vo compa! Que onda.... como estas guey? another is to say Tu
eres mi otro yo...... que dice tu corazon?
The former is real, the latter is contrived and not typically "macho"
and would be a hard sell amongst the locals.
It is like the situation when we go dance with the traditional Danza
Azteca groups in Central Mexico: The people greet each other ( and us)
with the light handshake... or better yet, the touching of the palms.
Yet here in Aztlan, the azteca dancers have several elaborate
handshakes, bear hugs and kisses on the hands and cheeks......
These greetings would be very uncomfortable amongst the persons that
have carried on their indigenous traditions for centuries.....
Now if I am a person looking for alternative spirituality, meaning in a
world of pain and suffering, and membership in a group that has similar
needs, In Lakech sounds real good and the ritual hand shakes feel great....
I live for reasoned, enlightened spirituality:
