Dr Covarrubias may be right when he said that INAH bureaucrates don't really
how to manage credits for field excavations and sites' cleaning and
restauration, but I recently visited Ek Balam on July 9th and my wife and I
saw that they were restauring one of the twin buildings. You may find a
picture of it on my blog, as others taken on the same day...
I don't know what are the concrete arguments used in Jules' link but we
don't have quotation to a field observation made by an archaeolgist... I
think this information should be sharper.
