This topic reminds me of the sacred ritual of the Kieri, also named as "El
Mero Patron" in its pure manifestation of the plant ( Solandra Brevicalyx )
which its petals only opens at night and grows in very harsh and rocky
environments.. Hueitpatl of the ancient aztecs drinkas an hallucinogenic Tea
from the branches of the solandra..
They will use it as a ritual to favored promises and good luck... also used
by the huicholes on ceremonial practices in the north part of zacatecas an
arqueological place called la quemada according to the indian cosmology its
oriental axis is aligned with the summer solstice, marking the end of
droughts...
