Dear Mike and all,
Does anyone see a resemblance between the image on K4604 and page 4 of the
Dresden. If so does page 4 have any sun references?
Except for the appearance of the kin glyph there seem to be very few images
of the sun in Maya vase painting.

Subject: [Aztlan] Drawing of Five Sun Periods

Dear all,

I think the drawing on Maya vase K4604 (
http://research.mayavase.com/kerrmaya_hires.php?vase=4604) displays five
Suns periods.
The middle square of the first three Suns are black, and point to the past
time. The square in the fourth Sun contains a circle, the present time, and
the square in the fifth Sun is empty.

Kind regards,
Mike Geubel
