Buenos dias, listeros -
As you may or may not know, there is a sacbe connecting the "Hopewell" (Shawnee) complex at Newark with their complex at Chillicothe. Brad Lepper, an archaeologist working at Newark, is claiming that this sacbe predates the Mayan sacbes.
I seem to remember formative sacbes from the area south of the Yucatan, sacbes that even predate the classic Mayan sacbes, but since my stroke my memory is not that good.
I was wondering if any of you have any information on the earliest sacbes.
What are the earliest sacbes?
