Listeros,
Six stucco masks and a stone statuette have been uncovered at the site
of Moral-Reforma/Balancan in Tabasco. The masks are polychrome and
greenish and the statue resembles a warrior and some incensarios have
also been found. Work is continuing and more finds are anticipated. At
the time of the masks, Palenque and Calakmul dominated the site in 650
AD as a trading post.
Excavations on a platform temple are also ongoing at the site.
