Ñawpa Pacha: Journal of Andean Archaeology to be published by Left Coast
Press, Inc. for the Institute of Andean Studies

Left Coast Press, Inc. and the Institute of Andean Studies are pleased to
announce a partnership for publication of the Institute’s journal Ñawpa
Pacha: Journal of Andean Archaeology effective with Volume 30 (2010). Ñawpa
Pacha is the leading refereed serial publication in Andean archaeology.
Henceforth the journal will be published in semiannual issues and will be
produced in full color. The first joint issue will be published in June
2010.  Members of the Institute shall receive the journal as part of their
membership; others will subscribe through Left Coast (www.LCoastPress.com).
Electronic subscriptions to the journal will now be available to
institutional subscribers. Dr. Katharina Schreiber, Department of
Anthropology, University of California Santa Barbara, will continue as
editor of the journal.  Inquiries concerning article submissions should be
sent to kschreiber at anth.ucsb.edu. 

The Institute of Andean Studies (www.instituteofandeanstudies.org) is a
not-for-profit organization founded in 1960 by John Rowe of University of
California Berkeley and is dedicated to promoting the study of the Andean
past. Left Coast Press, Inc. is a specialty publisher of academic and
professional archaeology founded in 2005 and based in Walnut Creek,
California. Both parties are delighted to establish this long-term
relationship for future development of this important publication.
