"And there has been plenty of research on building design and
construction in relation to solar events and as articulation of
mathematical proportions - all of which have more objective evidence
than this. The idea that building technology has been (suspiciously)
overlooked is nonsense.I am also a musician, but the world is full of acoustic phenomena,
most of it not by human design. Thankfully.

Hello Listeros, I am an audio engineer who has recently fallen in love with meso-america. This might be a good time for me to make my first post. As Dave said above the world is full of acoustic phenomena and I totally agree with what he has mentioned. However it is becoming clear to me that the ancients had a far more profound understanding of sound than we currently do, even with our modern mathematics and computers. I would not rule out the possibility of acoustic design in the temples. Harmonic proportions can be visual as well as aural. Having not had the chance to visit the ancient sites yet I do not have an objective opinion on the phenomena. I will look into it further. But it is very interesting that there are stories of these acoustic anomilies for many of the sacred sites, too many to rule this out as a coincidence.
