SHAMELESS PLUG

For those who have not seen this film, David and Rosey have done a
stellar job of combining fact with artistic quality. We (Pat Helton
& I) saw this in the San Francisco Bay Area about a month ago and
were delighted with it. You will see many faces and sites that we,
as Aztlan Listeros, are familiar with. As an "extra added value"
event, David and Rosey held a short introductory course on reading
Maya glyphs after this screening, to which several Bay Area Maya
extended families, children included, attended. A case of outreach
at its finest.

All in all, it was nice to see the "Family Album" up on the Big Screen.

Cheers,
Bruce Rogers, earth scientist on a good day, and Pat Helton, digital
co-conspirator
