[Aztlan] Mexican Mummies from Oaxaca

Dear Listeros,
does anyone know more about the mummies found in Oaxaca?
or Leopoldo Batres who inspected them in the late 19th century?
One of the last aquerologia mexicana had an article about the mummies there, but only mentioned them and him and I would like to know more then "they resembled the ones known from Peru"!
