Dear All,
Thanks for the information on tracking
down the CIW photos. Here is a summary of your advice so far:
The Harvard library has many of CIW
photos:
http://via.lib.harvard.edu/via/deliver/advancedsearch?_collection=via
Hi res. Photos of these same photos can
be downloaded on ARTstor:
www.artstor.org.
Additional photos can be found at on the
Mesoweb archive:
http://www.mesoweb.com/photo/index.html
The Harvard database is wonderful but it
still lacks many important photos of monuments that were published by CIW
(perhaps they just have not scanned all the photos or was the collection
somehow split up?).
Other possible sources might be the Morley
archives at the School of American Research in Santa Fe?
Also the Southwest
Museum in L.A. has a lot of the early photos of Chichen
Thanks again for the help!
Best from OZ,
Carl

Dear All,
Does anyone have information if there is an archive of photos that were once used for the Carnegie Institution Maya Publications (such as in Morley's "Inscriptions of the Peten")? If so where are they located? Did they get absorbed into other libraries? Or are they lost to the ages?
Thanks for the help.
Carl Callaway
