[Aztlan] Replica of Aztec Capital to be Built in Mexico

I have two arguments against this huge construction :
- two hotels, one mall and luxuous flats will be also built which make
this "anastylosis" look like an Aztec Disneyland.
- Secondly the architect pretends this will allow people to reencounter
their Aztec legacy, especially respecting nature and sustainable development
but he precises that everything will be build with modern materials like
cement. So where is the sustainable development here?
- the reconstruction will consider Marquina's drawings and models, which
are not updated since the 1960's...
So that how could we consider this center as something good and interesting?
To me it just looks like monkey business. The Governor of the State of
Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto could get his Sound and Lights show in
Teotihuacan. So he just try to find other ways to get money by another way.
Even if it's a private project, I suspect strong political influences to
authorize this mess...
