FAMSI JOUNAL OF THE ANCIENT AMERICAS

Estimados Listeros,

After a short hiatus, the FAMSI Journal of the Ancient
Americas is once again soliciting contributed articles.

As many of you know, for the past several years
FAMSI has agreed to host an online repository for academic
papers, called the "FAMSI Journal of the Ancient Americas."

The main goal of the "FAMSI Journal" is to enhance the
sharing of knowledge between professionals, researchers,
teachers, students, and enthusiasts in the many disciplines
of Pre-Columbian studies.

The FAMSI Journal is intended as a central repository for
professional presentation, research reports, academic papers,
and book reviews on both Pre-Columbian cultures of the
Americas and their modern descendants.

We hope that this service will allow academic papers that
would otherwise be seen only at a conference or in a
classroom to have a wider audience and benefit everyone
in the Aztlan community.

FAMSI JOURNAL BOOK REVIEWS

The moderators of Aztlan have also contacted the
leading presses in the United States for books that
may be reviewed by our members.  As these books
arrive, the moderators will seek persons to review the
books for the FAMSI Journal.

Persons whose books have been recently published
should request that their press send a review copy to
John Schwaller, who will serve as the Book Review
editor of the FAMSI Journal.

If you have acquired a book outside of the United States,
and would like to review it, please send a copy of your
review to the moderators for consideration.

Please review your own portfolio, and consider posting
