La bondad de Dios es abundante y se derrama como las aguas de un manantial, lo que lleva a Su creación del mundo, de todo lo visible e invisible. En esta versión, Dios primero crea los cielos, capa por capa. A continuación crea los cuatro elementos: fuego, aire, agua, tierra. Crea los distintos peces que habitan en los océanos, los ríos y los cenotes. Él crea los árboles y las plantas, "de verdes tintes sus hojas en esta tierra". Luego crea a las criaturas de cuatro patas y a las aladas y a las serpientes que se retuercen sobre la tierra. Todas estas cosas en los cielos y en la tierra son creadas "por nuestro Redentor solo", simplemente por medio de Su palabra, más que por Dios padre (ms. pág. 167). Cuando Dios crea al hombre, usa puñados de Su mejor tierra. El autor sigue la historia de la creación en el Génesis hasta cierto punto. Luego, sin embargo, Dios escupe en Sus manos y unge los oídos de la imagen de barro que Él ha hecho, así como Cristo unge los oídos de un sordo con saliva, en un milagro que se describe en Marcos 7:34. Por último, el autor recurre al famoso pasaje de los "huesos secos" en Ezequiel 34:5-7, cuando cuenta cómo quedaron sujetos unos con otros los huesos de Adán, y cómo crecieron la piel y las venas sobre los huesos del primer hombre.
